To do so, Ogilvy paired them with executive dating company Lunch Actually and launched a promotion that paired shoes with men.
Known as Doc Martens, the brand’s boots and shoes embody counterculture spirit while still providing support for your feet. These durable shoes and boots mold to the shape of your feet once broken in, offering a custom fit every time you wear them.
Originally designed in the 1960s for blue-collar workers, Dr. Martens became a symbol of rebellious style when they made their way into the punk scene. Later, rockers of all stripes adopted the leather lace-ups as part of their signature look. Today, the shoes are embraced by street-style stars and celebrities, including Gigi Hadid, Jessica Alba, and Kaia Gerber.
However, many London customers will be disappointed to find that Dr Martens doesn’t allow in-store returns. This policy may be a result of the large number of online returns the company receives.
