United States "Didn’t think I’d end up here but I’m glad I did"
I’m 63, retired military. Lost my wife few years ago, cancer. We were married 35 years. Wasn’t lookin for anything, just got tired of the quiet I guess. A friend kept tellin me to try online stuff I never really thought that was for me. One night just typed a few things into google ended up here. Didn’t see a lot of Meetheage reviews but site looked simple. Took me a bit to figure it out I’m not great with tech. But it’s not hard once you get goin. the people seem real not bots like on those big name sites. I sent a message and a lady replied. We been talkin ever since. Just small stuff mostly. But it’s real talk. She listens. So do I. I’m not tryin to rush into nothin. Just needed a place to feel like myself again. This site helped with that. For now, that’s enough.
