This app works with RaceTab Meet Manager running on a Windows PC. It allows clerks to check in athletes on the fly from the start line. The application communicates with the PC over a WiFi connection to exchange data with RaceTab. This is a beta release of the app and has a few minor bug fixes from the 4.01 release a couple days ago. The app is free to try. Upgrade to the full version for additional features.
Meet Directors & Timers are able to use our meet management features to invite specific teams to their meets. This feature can be accessed on the "Setup" page of your meet by selecting "Meet Manager".
On the "Meet Manager" page there is a link titled "Manage Invites". This will open up a text box for you to enter in a team name. Once you have entered in the team name, it will populate a list of teams that match that team.
From here you can select the teams and click the next button to send them an email inviting them to your meet. On this page you can also include a message and the total entry fee. Once the invitation has been sent, a confirmation will be shown on the page. This can be viewed by the point of contact of the invited team. This is a great way to ensure that all teams are aware of any associated fees.
Modern athletes are finely-tuned machines capable of performing amazing feats on the sports field. From Usain Bolt to Serena Williams, and from college athletes to on-field team sports like football, the world’s top athletes understand precisely what their bodies are capable of, and how to extract every last ounce of power and energy.
Athlete tracking systems are the key to unlocking this data. Using GPS and accelerometers to record specific metrics and then processing the results, athlete tracking allows coaches and athletes to get to know their bodies in an entirely new way.
Athlete tracking also helps reduce the number of players on a team’s injured list. By providing 100 percent objective, real-time performance data, it’s easier for coaches to determine whether a recovering player is at their pre-injury level or still has a long way to go. This data can be used to target training, recovery and injury prevention efforts. In turn, this can save money and reduce the impact injuries have on a team’s overall competitiveness.
